Im doing a demonstration speech on arranging flowers and i need a good opening statement to capture the attention of the audience.
Speech intro help?
Flowers are like people, some smell nice, some are prickly, some just for show, etc., but depsite these differences they can be arranged in harmony.......or something like that.
Reply:haha, that is so wierd, i just did a demonstration speech this morning. umm, a personal narritive is what i used. you can tell a story about how you went to a wedding or funeral and saw some bad arrangements, something along those lines. it will cause some laughs and lighten things up a bit.
