Math question?

Five different varieties of flowers are growing in a garden: carnations, roses, mums, marigolds, and lilies. Peter and Juanita are responsible for picking flowers and arranging them in vases to sale. They use three different types flowers in each vase. For example, one vase might contain roses, carnations, and lilies. How many different combinations can be made from the five varieties of flowers?

5x4x3 / 3x2x1 = 60/6 = 10 different combinations
